Clare Kendrick Robinson It’s wonderful to hear how your practice has developed and is now really special, Sarah. I chose the second track as my favourite as it reminds me of chanting it with you in the early days, such wonderful memories, ✨ Favorite track: Mahamritjunjaya.

about

First release of my voice on digital... eleven minutes for now! I'm fundraising to develop a selection of kirtan and mantra tracks in co-creation with other instruments and musicians. The minimum to download is £1.08 but if you feel to please give generously to the recording fund... Many thanks and much peace to you all Xx

WHY MANTRAS AND WHAT TO DO?...

The word mantra comes from two Sanskrit words: MAN meaning mind; and TRA meaning vehicle or instrument.

Mantra is a meditative tool used to transport the mind from a state of activity to one of stillness and silence, creating space and focus.

Your Space live kirtan includes mantra meditation. These three, short, simple tracks are offered to you to experience in your own time.

Sanskrit mantras have varied interpretations, as a language of vibrational root sounds their repetition serves to create harmonic resonance within you and your environment.

This form of active meditation can bring great peace and steadiness to ones heart and mind whether times are perceived as calm or troubled.

Make yourself comfortable, loosen your body, lengthen your breath, repeat the words along with the mantras, out loud or quietly in your mind.

Pause and settle into the silence after the sound...

(it's not recommended to practice mantras whilst driving etc, they are for meditative use.)

At ashrams and yoga events in the UK, India, New Zealand, through travels in Tibet and Nepal where mantra is woven into the fabric of daily existence.

These inspiring moments have led me to share mantra amongst my community and now here for you to experience in your own space and time...
